Dyson Vacuum Cleaners

…..is that BAD? did he kill my vacuum cleaner? does anyone know about this?

So, my Dyson vacuum makes a horrible screeching noise whenever I vacuum, even if I already emptied it out before. The only way to stop it is by turning it off. It happens only when it chooses to. We already took it apart and but it back together, but still, it’s making that noise.
What’s wrong with it?

I have a Dyson DC08 and it suddenly started omitting a foul odour a couple of months ago everytime it’s switched on. I’ve washed all the parts with warm soapy water and left it to dry several times. However, everytime the parts are dry and fitted back on the vacuum the smell is still there. Any suggestions on what could be causing this?

Hi, I’m looking for a new vacuum because my old one goes through belts like every month and it really does loose suctions after about 20 sweeps. What’s your favorite vaccum?

so my dyson vacuum has this filter and it is 2 parts. one is a circular blue foamy thing and the other is a yellow thing it goes into. i forgot which way you place it back in the vacuum so is it the blue foam side up or the yellow thing up?

We are thinking about spending 500 for a good Vacuum. I have read reviews on some Dyson’s but not that many on Riccars or Simplicity Vacuums. Can you recommend a good one and is there a place that you can test out the Dysons?

I am thinking about buying this vacuum to suck up all the cat hair from my furniture. I’d like to know if it’s worth the 0+ and also if this product works well on hard wood floors. I’ve heard how well it works on carpet, but does it clean easily on a hard wood floor as well?

But – I cannot get it to retract. Usually I’m pretty mechanical but cannot see how to retract it and don’t have a manual. Anyone here a Dyson owner that can help me out?

I was watching an infomercial about the Shark Navigator and was just curious. I shouldn’t believe it just because the biased infomercial says so.

Our little pudgeball is a massive shedder….coarse black hair…that is EVERYwhere (even in the fridge…gross!). So, I really don’t think our Dirt Devil vacuum is working that well. Does anyone have a Dyson….and does it really work??

Also, any tips on shedding? We brush her, but not frequently, and bathe her with shedding shampoo….but, the hair still sheds as the seasons change.

i don’t want my marble floor scratched in anyway when vacuum cleaning so would the most expensive dyson dc25 be the best for this job or would it scratch my marble floors?

i heard that the motor filter are recommanded to change cos they clog up dust easily n cant wash with water. is there any other cons of dyson machines that you plp can help to list?

Which is better Dyson or Miele and how much money should you spend to get a good vacuum cleaner? Those once I have had were junk.

I’m planning on buying a new vacuum but I’m not sure which one to get. I’m actually new to this so any advice would be greatly appreciated! I’ve read several reviews which said that Dysons are more expensive but better quality, and some said that Sebo provides better ones. Which one to get?!!?! I’m so confused.

I have a Dyson 15DC animal vacuum with the ball. the other day the Brushbar quit working and I was wondering If anyone has any ideas what it could be. I already replaced the switch for the brushes but still a no go. I welcome any tips or suggestions.

Money is not the issue….just want the best one based on the latest and newest models. I have 2 floors of carpet, 2 sets of carpeted stairs and 1 floor is hardwood. Thanks!

Both are on crigslist the oreck is 75 and the dyson is 175 but I think I can get it for 150 or lower

We’re buying a new vacuum and the two that sound the best are the Dyson Animal and the Dyson Blueprint…we can’t decide between them though…so I ask you, which is better?

K this is some serious clog… I’ve tried the broom handle, a coat hanger, everything to get this thing out and it’s not coming out… The hose doesnt come completely apart so there are bends and twists in it I cannot unbend or untwist…

Any suggestions?
